My Confidant !

The vibrant, English department of Sree Narayana Guru Kripa BEd College celebrated World Poetry Day at the English Optional class on 24 March 2022 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm. Bismina S made the poster for the event. Dr. Salini, our dearest Principal ma'am inaugurated the event. She recited a malayalam poem as per our request. It was a great honour for us. Vimalakumari, our former Principal joined us as per our invitation. Dr. Dhanya, Asst. Professor of English, our dearest ma'am helped a lot for letting the event to happen... Vandita hosted the event. The poem recitations of skilful and talented English students were presented. Gopika recited a malayalam poem. Bismina S recited her own poem titled " A Tale of a Flower ". Keerthana recited the poem "Road not Taken". Anju recited a malayalam poem. Our seniors recited the poem as a group. After the recitation, Salini ma'am, Vimala ma'am, Dhanya ma'am together cut the cake. It was a happy moment for ...

SNGK COLLEGE, POTHENCODE celebrated Holi in a beautiful manner. The students and teachers put Rangoli in front of the college.  Students sprayed color water with each other and happily celebrated the festival. 

On the 17th of March, 2022. I got a better opportunity to present my paper  "A STUDY ON THE AWARENESS OF TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN REGARDS TO THE NEED TO INCORPORATE EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVING." on International Multi-Disciplinary Seminar on Holistic Approach to Educational Practices organized by Mount Tabor Training College, Pathanapuram, Kerala in collaboration with Dept. of Education, University of Kerala and State Council of Educational Research and Training ( SCERT ), Kerala. It was actually my privilege to get an opportunity to present my paper and interact with the audience, judges regarding the same. Got a good appreciation for the paper and presentation.    

  I have took the seminar on the topic Stephen Krashen's Hypothesis of the theory of Second language Acquisition. 

  Stephy hosted the assembly. Smrithi recited the prayer. Ligitha takes the pledge. Meenakshi read the news. Vyshnavi read the commercial news. Abhirami read the important days of the week. Divya read the campus news. Sumayya read the thought for the day. The principal shared her ideas. Then she honored Bismina S for receiving Best Paper Award in the International Paper Presentation organized by Mar Theophilus Training College. Then she gave gifts to other participants  (Ligitha, Jeethu, Arya )of the paper presentation. We then gave a small token of love from the side of students to our dearest Principal ma'am for giving us with all her love and support. The college assembly ends with the national anthem.

  Celebrated Women's Day! As part of International Women's day celebration, we the students and faculties of SNGK BEd College, Pothencode has celebrated Women's day in a full fledged manner. Women's day programme started by 1:45pm. Quiz competition was organized by Commerce department. Four students from each department participated in the event. In which Social Science group won the competition by scoring 35 points. After Quiz competition, a talk was lead by Roshni, second year student. She made us understand about the need for criticizing ourselves so as to shape our behavior and personality. After the Talk, a skit was performed by Second year students. The skit portrayed Gender Inequality prevailing in our society. It was a thought provoking performance. With that ends the women's day celebration. It was a fun day!

We got the permission to turn one of the rooms in the second floor into Union Office. We have cleaned and made all the required arrangements and turn it into a smart office. Dr. Salini ma'am opened the office by cutting the ribbon. Aswathy ma'am along with all th Union members attended the event.

  On March 5th, 2022 , I got an excellent opportunity to present my paper " GENDER INJUSTICE IN THE LIVES OF WOMEN " on the National Webinar on Women: Education and Empowerment conducted by Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Kulakkada, Kollam. It was such a resourceful session as I could interact with the audience and judges in accordance with my paper. I got a special appreciation for the paper.  A fruitful experience it was !

  യോദ്ധ 2022 INAUGURATION - 03.03.2022 We were very much happy and grateful to get the happy presence of Hon'ble Minister Sri. G R Anil sir for inaugurating our College Union. Being the head of the Invitation Committee I was really grateful for getting the opportunity to invite the Hon'ble minister, Panchayat representatives, teachers, non-teachers, and all the students for the event.  Bismina S, Sreelatha, Stephy, Vishnu were the members of the Invitation Committee. We are very much happy that all the guests reached the college at the right time. The College Union Inauguration ceremony begins with a prayer. Anju S recited the prayer. Welcome speech by Akshaya, Introductory speech by Dr. Salini S ma'am were followed by a prayer. Then our Hon'ble Minister Sri. G R Anil inaugurated the event. Presidential address by Akhil A G, Greetings by Sri. T R Anil, Smt. Anitakumari, Smt Varna, Smt Aswathy, and Smt Dhanya  C S were followed by that. The event got ended with the Vote...
