Community Living Camp - " ആരവം 2021" is about to Start !

We named it "ആരവം 2021" !

Sree Narayana Guru Kripa B.Ed. College is about to begin Five days Community Living Camp as part of the B.Ed Curriculum for the academic year 2021-2023. We named it as ആരവം 2021. We really wish it to be a sounded one creating that much noise as the name suggests. The Students are really excited about the camp.

Students and teachers used to have stayed in Community Living Camp and all but now as Covid 19 is badly affecting the mass, the camp will not be having any stay and it is planned to begin at 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.

We have made several committees for the good organization of the event like Programme committee, Cleaning committee, Cooking committee, Fund managing, Students for organizing the Art & Craft session, Reception committee, etc. Students will be having cultural programs as part of the camp on the second and third day of the camp.

Students for hosting the events are decided. I am very much happy that the college has trusted me and given me the opportunity to be the host for the event for the First and Second days of the camp. I am also there for leading the Art & Craft session.

We have cleaned the college auditorium, decorated the stage, put on stage curtains and also arranged the seatings. The boys of our college are really much energetic and they are really responsible for being in front of organizing everything needed.

The camp will be having informative speeches of renowned personalities. I hope it will definitely help B.Ed students for being good teachers.

Everything is well set for the camp.

Onam 2k22 @ SNGK BEd College, Pothencode

We celebrate Onam on 31st of August and 1st of September, 2022 at our college. Day 01 : On the first day, we have arranged games like musical chair, lemon and spoon race, vadamvali, sundarik pott thodal etc... We have started the day by 10 am and ended the celebration by 1:30 pm. Day 02 : On the second day, everyone wore ethnic dresses and we put athappookkalam, arranged megathiruvathira, had onam sadhya, played some games and left the college by 3:30 pm. We had lots and lots of fun. College closes for Onam vaccation on September 01, 2022 and will be reopening on September 11, 2022.

Teaching Training 2023

The third Phase of Training for Prospective teachers began on June 27th of June and ended on August 09th. As prospective teachers, we are supposed to complete 30 lesson templates which for me is about two units including six chapters. On the previous working day of training, we went to the schools and collected the portions to be taught and the timetable. With that, we have started preparing lesson templates, teaching aids, notes, etc... I was asked to complete my training at Muslim Girls Higher Secondary School, Kaniyapuram. Week 01: June 27, 2023 - June 30, 2023 Very very happy to join the school for training where I have studied from my HS to HSS. Met HM, Shajitha's teacher who taught me Malayalam during my school years. Hand over the letter from the principal to her and join for training. She asked me to meet Taresh Sir, Head of the English department, who taught me English during my school years and also was the teacher in charge of my 10th standard. Met Taresh sir and rejoice...
