Day Two of ആരവം 2021!

Day Two of ആരവം 2021 !

We were happy to begin our second day of ആരവം 2021 as it was a bright day. Everyone was really enthusiastic to welcome the second day of our camp.

The host for Day two of ആരവം 2021 was Bismina S. English was the medium of hosting for the second day. It was actually a great experience for me to host the event.

We have begun our second day of the camp with prayer. Sivarenjini and Smrithi recited the prayer and with that begins the day by 10:30am.

Aditya. K delivered the Welcome speech for our guest V.S.Bindu ma'am. She introduced Bindu ma'am as a great poet, social worker, revolutionist, and more than that a great human being. She welcomed her on behalf of the students for the talk.

V.S.Bindu ma'am captured the day with her style of persuasion. She explained the way of teaching we need to follow for molding better citizens for the future. She talked about the mentality of students now and gave us instructions like how to gather their attention and also how to arouse curiosity in them for attending the class. In between, she recited a beautiful folksong that activated the stage. She then shared her love and happiness for the institution. As she is also a resident of Pothencode she was happy to be there. Her session with the students was really worthy.

On behalf of the students, teachers, principal, and all other personalities of the institution, Akshaya shared our love and respect to V.S.Bindu ma'am by delivering the vote of thanks.

As a token of love and gratitude from the institution, our honorable Principal, Vimalakumari ma'am presented momentum to V.S.Bindu ma'am.

With that end, the programs are scheduled for the morning by 12:30pm. After that students were given a Lunch break. The Cooking Committee has made delicious Kappa and Chutney. Their attempt for making the food succeeded. Their way of coordination and patience was really appreciated. Here is a glimpse of their attempts.

We had a great meal. After that students were asked to join the stage by 2:00pm so as to start the cultural programs of First-year students. Bismina S was the host of the cultural program.

The Cultural programs began at 2:00pm. As a nation and as a country, culture is an important part of our upbringing and who we are today. Our country's culture is something we will be buried with when we die, and we will have to live with it for the rest of our lives. Today our first-year students actually served the audience a visual treat with their performances. They have been working extremely hard for the past two days on their preparations.

The cultural programs began with the welcome dance by Anakha and the team. It was a mesmerizing performance.

Aswathy recited a Malayalam poem. It was a soothing recitation.

Smrithi then rocked the stage with her singing. She sang a film song.

Hearing folksongs are really refreshing. They made us remember our culture and traditions. Revathy and the team sang a folksong. It was a nice performance.

A Solo dance performance was there by Anakha. Her expressions were great.

Hari and Sneha made a duet song performance. Their song selection was good as it activated the students. They did it well.

Another group song performance was there by Anju and the team. They sang a fusion of film songs.

A solo semi-classical dance performance was made by Kavya. She received applause for her postures and expressions.

With the dance performance of Akshaya and the team ends the cultural programs by 2:50 pm. The ending was energetic similar to the very first performance. Anyway, first-year students made use of the previous two days and prepared well for today's performance. That is really visible in their performances. Each and every student who was there for the performance received huge applause from the audience.

Meenu shared her reviews of Day two. With that ends Day two of ആരവം 2021!
A great day!
