Day Two of School Visit

Day Two - 18/01/2022

The students seem confident today as the faculty and students were very much approachable.
We reached the school by 9:00 am and by 9:30 am we got entry to the staffroom arranged for us after checking our temperature and sanitizing our hands. By 9:50 am the students recited the prayer. After that, we went on to sign the attendance.

Soon after that our team met HM, Saleena ma'am, and had an interactive session with her. She is very much kind and friendly. She gave answers to all the questions asked by me in a responsible manner. She has joined the school by June-2021 and it is noticeable that even with this short span of time she tried to know the whole history and functioning of the school and she is guiding every activity of the school in an effective manner. After collecting the information I seek permission from her to observe the classes of the teachers. She asked me to seek permission from the respective teachers. Thus we went on to meet English teachers. Naseeha ma'am and Manju ma'am were the English teachers for high school. As Naseeha ma'am was on leave we seek permission from Manju ma'am and we were asked to join the class by the third period at 10 B.

So for the rest of the time, we went on to take photographs of the playground, washroom, Library, and all.

We then joined the class at the right time. The class led by Manju ma'am was very much convincing as the students eagerly listens to her words and gave immediate responses. I am sure that her way of teaching will definitely help me in my career. After the class students were given a lunch break and we were permitted to leave the school.
It was a great day that I got the opportunity to sit in the class for the purpose of observation.

Onam 2k22 @ SNGK BEd College, Pothencode

We celebrate Onam on 31st of August and 1st of September, 2022 at our college. Day 01 : On the first day, we have arranged games like musical chair, lemon and spoon race, vadamvali, sundarik pott thodal etc... We have started the day by 10 am and ended the celebration by 1:30 pm. Day 02 : On the second day, everyone wore ethnic dresses and we put athappookkalam, arranged megathiruvathira, had onam sadhya, played some games and left the college by 3:30 pm. We had lots and lots of fun. College closes for Onam vaccation on September 01, 2022 and will be reopening on September 11, 2022.

Teaching Training 2023

The third Phase of Training for Prospective teachers began on June 27th of June and ended on August 09th. As prospective teachers, we are supposed to complete 30 lesson templates which for me is about two units including six chapters. On the previous working day of training, we went to the schools and collected the portions to be taught and the timetable. With that, we have started preparing lesson templates, teaching aids, notes, etc... I was asked to complete my training at Muslim Girls Higher Secondary School, Kaniyapuram. Week 01: June 27, 2023 - June 30, 2023 Very very happy to join the school for training where I have studied from my HS to HSS. Met HM, Shajitha's teacher who taught me Malayalam during my school years. Hand over the letter from the principal to her and join for training. She asked me to meet Taresh Sir, Head of the English department, who taught me English during my school years and also was the teacher in charge of my 10th standard. Met Taresh sir and rejoice...
